The sound of doom? That ssssss from a Creeper. The look of destruction? Now it’s on your feet. Adidas just dropped the Minecraft Creeper Superstar and it kinda bangs. This isn’t just a color swap, it’s a full-on tribute to the most iconic menace in Minecraft, built on one of Adidas’ most legendary silhouettes. Creepers ruin your builds, now they’re ruining your bank account (but that’s what bank accounts are for).

The blocky design of the Minecraft x adidas Superstar:

At first glance, the base sticks to that clean Adidas vibe: white leather upper, black stripes, and a classic shell toe. But look again and it’s chaos in a good way. The sides look like they’ve been blasted open, with pixel-cut holes where the stripes usually sit. It's giving blown-up wearable. Around the heel and toe, you’ve got those signature Creeper green cubes and a pixelated camo spine. Add in a mini Creeper lace charm and you’ve got a shoe that’s loud, nerdy and somehow still lowkey enough.

From gaming digs to Aurora streets

This drop is part of a bigger deal. Adidas and Minecraft are going full-collab mode, bringing gaming vibes. The launch is timed with the upcoming Minecraft Movie (starring Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Emma Myers, and Jennifer Coolidge), dropping April 4 at a theatre near you in Aurora, Colorado. The whole capsule takes inspo from the film: bold graphics, 80s-coded jackets, and prints that look like you just teleported out of the Overworld.

Kid-sized chaos

The Creeper Superstars are spawning in GS and PS sizing. But we’ll refrain from hating on the kids and juniors who are getting first dibs. These kicks are bold, blocky and built to stand out. The pixel-cut adidas stripes and bright Creeper greens give off serious statement shoe energy, which means you don’t need to go over the top with the rest of the fit.
